Warmth and love..It doesn't take much!

It doesn't take much to make someone's day.

An unexpected smile.

A hug when you need it the most.

Remembering something that caught his or her eye and secretly getting it.

A meal cooked with love.

A call just to say hi.

A hidden note that you just chance to find.

A quiet dinner on a moonlit terrace.

...It doesn't take much to make someone feel special!

Forgive..but forget??

Forgiveness is a tricky game. In each one's life, there comes a time when we ask for or are asked to forgive someone who has hurt us. It hurts most when that person is who we love the most. And sometimes, in the name of this love, we forgive. Or do we? Do we truly forgive and forget? Or does the hurt haunt us from time to time, having made a permanent crack in our armour?

I know someone who once made what in retrospect can be called a mistake. She did not willingly hurt anyone but at that moment, took decisions that hurt the man she loved. When she realised her mistake, she asked him to forgive her. And he told her, he would if she chose to come back to him. He would forgive and forget. And he is the only person I know who truly forgot. In the many years hence, they have been through thick and thin. But never did he ever in a fit of rage or in a weak vengeful moment, throw it back in her face. They moved on to a healthier relationship, with far more trust and understanding than before.

I don't believe most of us are that magnanimous. I am probably not either. The ghosts of my past hurts come back once in a blue moon to shake me up and remind me nothing is permanent.

But wouldn't it be so much better for our own selves if we could let go? If we could move on..truly forgive and forget. The shackles that bind us, hold us back from loving with abandon again would break. And we could once more fly away to a place where skies are blue and love truly is forever!

The madness called Bigg Boss

There are few people so infuriating that just watching them can get one's blood boiling. The stupid fake who calls himself Sky Walker is the perfect example of this species. And today's episode just proves this.

Since the beginning of Bigg Boss 5 (yes I watch it, so sue me), I have detested the hypocritical nature of his alleged group! Pooja bedi, who highly disappointed me by choosing when to interfere in fights and when to be holier than thou, Juhi the most dominating person in the house and acts like she's so perfect. Sunny who suddenly grew a voice after weeks of being brain washed and most of all a stupid side actor called Aakash.

There is no one perfect in life and definitely not in that house. But that man is just the most insecure creature I have ever seen. Anyone else's praise translates into him going berserk.

It will be a major tragedy if a wannabe like him wins. It will just prove that you can disrespect people and still be rewarded.

New year

Some things are so beautifully said.

As wished by Neil Gaiman:

"May your coming year be filled with magic and dreams and good madness. I hope you read some fine books and kiss someone who thinks you're wonderful, and don't forget to make some art -- write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can. And I hope, somewhere in the next year, you surprise yourself."
